Meet Brad Wilson
Brad Wilson came to Albany in 1972 when his father moved the family to start a local business. Brad attended Liberty Elementary, and Memorial Middle School, and graduated from West Albany High School in 1980. He ran track, cross country, and was on the cheerleading squad in junior and senior year.
Brad then attended the University of Oregon where he graduated in 1985 with a Degree in Business. During college, Brad continued his cheerleading career with the U of O cheerleading squad for two years (along with one year at University of Hawaii). During his college career, Brad volunteered to be a camp counselor.
After obtaining his degree, Brad went to work for the family business. In 1987, he married his wife, Carla. They have two beautiful daughters: Jessica and Samantha. Both attended Albany schools during their k-12 educations, and both went on to earn degrees from Oregon State University.
In 1991, the family business was sold. This led Brad and Carla to purchase The Bark Place (Albany and Corvallis) which they operate to this day. In 2005, Brad started Better Portable Toilets, located in Millersburg.
The Wilson family lives in Albany on their small farm and their three horses. Brad is also the proud owner of a WWII era DUKW which he purchased and restored.
Brad feels itβs important to give back to the community. He has supported local community projects and organizations below:
